Thank you for opening your doors

My Mom bravely fought brain, lung and lymph node cancer for about 3.5 years and she lived at Hospice Wellington for 23 days. Our family felt at home here after many weeks of out of town hospital care. Hospice Wellington took care of my Mom, but also my Dad, three teenage sons and me when we needed it the most.

There were quiet spaces for everyone. The care here was respectful and kind. This allowed my Mom to experience love, comfort, peace and dignity in her final weeks and days. It was difficult to say goodbye to our Mom, Wife and ‘Amma’ as she was a beloved member of our family.

You gave us all safe, calm spaces to grieve and breathe. The beautiful residence gave us time to be together as a family. Thank you for opening your doors to our family in our time of need.
