Volunteers are an integral part of the Hospice Wellington team. From the front desk receptionist to the volunteer at the bedside, volunteers matter so much because they play an important role in all of the programs and services we provide every day.
Almost 200 volunteers generously give their time and talent in a wide range of roles. Volunteer opportunities are available to suit a variety of interests and skills. Volunteers complete a 33 hour training course in order to volunteer at Hospice Wellington. We provide ongoing education opportunities so volunteers can continue to enhance their skills.
